Is your tranny making noises still? If so, the TOB should probably set itself after a 100 miles or so and the noise should go away. If it doesn't go away, there is a chance that the TOB could have been defective in the new clutch. Did you go OEM or aftermarket clutch (aftermarket as in the kind of clutches you can buy for $100 cheaper at a NAPA or something)? Hope there is a warranty with what you got and the company would replace it for you (they might give you a hassle if you return it that it's oil soaked so you may have to fight for another clutch at no cost).

Check your clutch fluid resevoir. Might be low on fluid or might not have any at all. You might be smelling burning brake fluid that's leaking from your clutch resevoir or somewhere along the line. Are you getting decent pressure on your clutch pedal?

There's a chance the sound would go away IF the TOB sets itself properly. It COULD set itself after about 100 miles or so of driving. If it doesn't go away, you could have a defective TOB - which the odds are against it, but it is possible. I'm assuming that your the new TOB was installed when you got the new clutch kit. If the sound is happening with both the old TOB + old clutch and the new TOB + new clutch, you might be in a bit of tranny trouble...

Any other symptoms besides the noise? Power doesn't seem to be right at the certain RPMs? BTW - does the noise that you are hearing only occur when you are off the clutch and sounds like metal rolling around with a sort of rhythm?
