Do i need to replace my clutch??

Recently my clutch has been acting very strange. When I go a little hard on the clutch or on a hill it produces this moaning sound, it sounds a lot like chewbaca from star wars. anyway, are these the symptoms that mean i need to replace my clutch? It is very inconvenient to have to deal with this sound since the clutch pedal starts vibrating and the clutch loses traction.
thanks for the help

Is it the angry Chewbacca sound? Or the happy Chewbacca sound?

Seriously tho, Chewbacca + clutch slippage probably = time for a replacement. Got many miles on this clutch?

how many miles d u have on your car?
I'd same problem month ago. bought clutch kit from ebay. for 129$. And i ask mechanic to keep old parts. My car had 137k @ that moment and I found out that pressure plate still in good condition. So u can actually buy only bearing and clutch disk. What i've noticed that new clutch's a lil softer and slightly.

my car has 105k on it. it probably wouldnt be worthit just o buy a few parts since if im gonna go through the expensive process of replacing it, i might as well just replace everything at once. besides, the $100 ebay kit comes with everything. Correct me if im wrong, but this seems like the right thing to do.
thanks for the help

$460 isn't bad at all for a clutch replacement with an OEM clutch. IIRC - OEM clutches normallly cost around $279. Labor is around 75-85$ an hour at a dealership. I think the Nissan service manual has something like 5.0 hours for clutch replacement so roughly 700 some odd $$$ for a clutch replacement at the dealership.
