hey, i may be obtaining a catback for a 1996 max, however i have a 1999....just wondering what all i (or exhaust shop) will have to do to make this fit?

 

make it longer (I think...maybe shorter), and add a bung for the o2 sensor.

 

is this a task a standard exhaust shop can undertake? i might just add another resonator to make a bit longer

 

any shop should be able to do it. im not really sure where the inch goes, i think it goes after the axle so the bends to tuck it up in the underbody will be right... and of course the bung to be added like previously stated...

 

A resonator is going to be way to much longer. We're probably talking a couple of inches as it's basically the same car...the bumper just sticks out a bit further on one of them (I'm not sure which but I think it's the 97-99). I'm sure any exhaust shop could handle it.
