Swapping out mufflers.

I have a dual exit muffler on my SEL. My brother just got a 3rd gen Max and I am going to give him my muffler and get a new one for myself since double exit looks weird on my bumper since it is designed for a single exit. Now, which one do you guys recommend I get. I don't want a WEEEEEEEEEEE sound, but a nice throaty, grunty muffler. Help! This is an area I am really ignorant on. This muffler is the only thing I don't like about my Max. So, which one do you recommend? What's on your Max? Like it? Sound? Thanks!

I have the single exit OEM muffler and loved it before I/Y/B and after I/Y/B install. My goal was to stick with the sleeper look and sound as much as possible. Your goals might be different. My only other consideration was to do the 5th generation adaptation which you can find multiple posts on. For either option you might be able to save some cash by picking these up in the classifieds. Look even harder and you should be able to find sound clips for all major catback systems. (I wish I saved the links)

I want a muffler that sounds nice, but not like a dump truck charging at you. The one I have now is relatively loud, but I don't mind it. A quieter one would be nice, but I like the umph that it gives my Max and since I usually ride alone it will be somewhat loud. It also gives my Max a different feel from other Maximas.

How much are those? I am not letting myself spend a ton on a muffler.
