curious after intake install

I just rigged an ebay maf adaptor and a k&n filter from the gd. There's a small space inbetween the rubber gasket that came with the adaptor and the maf sensor. Will this create potential for an air leak? If so, will a tiny tiny air leak trigger a CEL? flame away sirs

You need to seal that gap. That's unfiltered air entering the engine.

If the air leak is before the tb in between the MAF and TB, might affect performance (i.e. vacuum leak) and suck in unfiltered air.

If its after the MAF between the filter and the MAF, it will just suck in dirty air.
