fixing the sunshade ...
#1
As I have posted sometime back, my sunshade is broken. The dealer price varies from $380 (parts.com) to $540 at the local dealer (yes, for the piece of cardboard!!!!!!), so I am not looking to spend that kind of money on it. I tried a lot of junk yards, but nothing so far.
The thing that's broken is the aluminum "thingy" that slides on the railing. I am thinking of just breaking all of them off completely, so that the sunshade will not slide on the railing, but just "be there" and slide in that space.
Do you guys think it'll work? I really don't want to take it out completely, which is another option.
Thanks
PS if anyone has a spare one (beige, for 4th gen.) please let me know.
Thanks again
Roman
