Quick question

Ok tomorrow im heading off to fix a leaking seal on the drivers side CV shaft on a manual trans, thing is all fluid will be drained. Now i went to my local shop he has penzoil synthetic 75-95 fluid. Is that good? then he has regular high performance ones non syntheitc but they are 80-95 Now the guy wants to know which one is it?! like numbers wise and how many do I need? will synthetic be better for me since im repairing a leak? Im afraid something else might leak if I use synthetic, but again im not the expert here. So Please reply ASAP i need to head back to the shop to buy these within 2 hours. Thanks guys

Its 4.9L to fill it back up. I used synthetic. It won't leak if he does the job correctly.

Read the stickies and FAQs. Read the Penzoil label. If it's GL-5 rated only, it's not designed for your tranny. GL-4 is the spec you want. 75 or 85-90 is fine. Not 125
