which bulbs should i use?

hey guys im installing new bulbs in my gauges, and i was thinking about doing the red/white combo that ive seen on here before. as far as the red goes, which bulbs give off a nice red color that doesnt eventually fade to pink? Secondly, which bulbs give off a nice white besides the polargs? thanks guys

Like 2 Da Max said... Red 194 LED's will never change color. Try superbrightleds.com for inverted cone LED's to avoid hotspots OR they also have a 5 LED version with one LED pointed forward and 4 LED's mounted radially. I'll be getting these in hyperwhite but they are out of stock in that color right now. But they have red, check them out.

Just scroll down through all the different kinds. The two I'm talking about are WLED-R Red LED bulb (inverted cone) and WLED-5 Wide Angle LED bulb.

I think I will still trust the LEDs since they dont rely on a colored housing to produce the red light, therefore they can't really fade. Thanks a lot guys, and anybody else who has changed their gauges please post pics so I can get some other ideas just in case.
