LED tails with LEDs that fit where the old bulbs were

Has anyone used one of these LED bulbs for their tail/break lights?
Would they be do dim?
Stupid looking?

OK assuming you don't have clear tailights and that the red plastic would be covering them just get the white ones, because everyone I have talked to sed they are really bright behind the red.
