read the stickes,

but I'm a hypocrite for saying that cause I did the same thing you did, ask someone how to do the conversion when it turned out to be in the stickes.

from what I've heard just get the 97 trunk lid, get the bottom latch just in case, and swap out the old one for the new one, un bolt the old trunk lid, bolt up the new one and swap key holes and latches.

97 trunk lid done. I want to do this soon as well so if you beat me to it post pics and let us know how it went.

why are you doing the swap? Gen 2CF?

i knwo the bumpers are different (95-96 vs 97-99) but not sure if it NEEDS to be changed for all this to work. I would just change it cause it may look funny.

from what I've read its plug and play, once you get the new trunk on with your old harness its all good and ready for use.
