help please, i know....

i need help figureing out what lowering spring i need. i want something a little bit stiffer than stock, not a race spring but something thats gonna handle the turns alittle better. but i also want something with a 1.6-1.75" lower. i live in a small town with bad roads and i deliver pizzas part time while im not at school right now, so i need something that is still daily driveable. i know some people have posted threads about this but i have searched and havent found the info im looking for. so if someone could please point me in the right direction that would be great. like i said i want a good lower, about 1.75" would be great, and i want something noticably better than stock, but not tooo stiff, still comfortable. thanks for the help ahead of time

I'm sure you've seen this: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaSprings , but I'll put it up anyway before someone gives you attitude. I've been in an SE with Intrax Springs /GR2s on 18's. It should be the drop you're looking for and rides very slightly stiffer than stock. Other than that, I don't know. Good luck.

While doing my research, I found this article to be very helpful: https://maxima.org/modules.php?name=TISI

Of particular note is how the drop is even and lower than advertised (around your range) with actual measurements and pictures to back these claims. You might be able to get a deal on the kit. Either way, here's great set of instructions to save you $$$.

H&R's with Illuminas = nice finished look, not slammed (1.7" drop maybe) ride and handling are excellent.

are the illuminas really neccessary if you not going to be racing? will the regular tokicos and aftermarket springs be enough for regular driving?

do you actually have to change stock shocks or can you just put new springs in?
