took off tint and broke window motor?

I have been in the process of taking off my tint for the past few days.

The back window was a nightmare. I think I ruined some of the lines in my rear defroster, but oh well. Nothing I can do about it now.

Anyway, I was finishing taking the glue stuff off the windows and I tried to roll the up and down and they had some resistance to them. The rear passenger side didn't go back up all the way and just stopped and is now able to be moved by hand with ease. I took the door panel off and broke the little plastic piece around the inside door handle (I was not happy last night). After all of that I just gave up.

Would this be able to break the window motor? I could hear a noise at first if I tried to roll it down but now nothing. Could it just be off track?

Make sure you don't have any glue left on thwe window. It will bind against the rubber piece alongside the base of the window. Use ammonia to remove any remaining glue.

all you need to do is use a razor blade to scrap off the glue. if you dont have ammonia.get a squirt bottle and mix some dawn and water together and spray it on the window then use the blade to scrap off the rest of the glue

Your window regulator might be broken.... my rear windown in now duct taped closed (ghetto) until the part comes in. I had a little broken piece of white plastic in my door meaning it broke the track somewhere. it is a $30 part.

I just replaced my regulator and motor for my left rear window. The wire in the regulator was all frayed up causing it to get stuck. SO i bought a new motor and regulator for 60$ shipped on ebay. Cant go wrong there. The motor that was on their is still in working condition. If you still need a motor for the window if it fits i will sell it for 25$ plus shipping but most likely you broke the regulator .
