Missfire

Hi I have maxima 99. I get missfire on it. How to fix it?

Since your maxima is a 99,They have ignition coil problems that why its misfiring probably in need of a ignition coil $80 part at nissan

Had/have the same prob, 99 5Spd, injectors/TB cleaned and plugs changed. Dealer ran diags and saw no prob. Problem started in April, right after I changed from a Monsterflow to a paper filter. Went away about 300 miles ago (mostly happens under WOT at about 3000+RPMs). Then I went to Raceway (usually use Sunoco Ultra) and they filled it with mid rather than premium. Doesn't happen all the time, I'm guessing it's either a coil pack or (less likely) the airfilter. Filled it with Ultra and then added 5 Gal of Sunoco 100 Octane, still happening, seems better in the cold. More later...

quick question kinda off topic i know it will cost me but will 100 octane hurt me in any way? will it benifit me? when i get some $$ i might wanna try some somday
