Need help installing the airbag...horn is sounding going off
I'm re-assembling my car after I changed the color of my interior from tan to black. I had to buy a black steering wheel, so thus, I removed my old wheel and airbag. Ok here's the problem, whenever I put the torx bolt on the right side of the wheel, whenever the bolt goes through the hole, the horn sounds. I'm re-using my old torx bolts and it had some blue bonding stuff on it. So I don't know if that blue stuff is what prevented the horn from sounding? This is really getting on my nerves because this is the last thing I have to do. Anyone know what's up with this?

Make sure the clock spring is installed correctly. It should sit level. The horn will sound as you tighten things up because the assembly shifts as you apply torque and makes the contacts hit briefly. But it should come back to the neutral position and only blow if you activate it.

I don't think it has to do with the clockspring. It might be the grounding plate??? I think thats what it is?? (rubber piece with metal on the bottom). It's whenever I touch ANY piece of metal to it, the horn will sound. It seems like it's not groounding somewhere. Anyone else?
