CV joint

yah dude, probably the CV joint... got mine fixed, you can get it rebooted, some places wont do that b/c it isnt as much a guaranteed fix... more like a delayer of destruction of CV jointage. i think i paid 150 to get it replaced and it was 50 to get it rebooted... i wouldnt go to the dealership either, the were gonna charge me over 400 dollars for the parts.

Sounds like your cv boot man, If you want to get it fixed the right way take it to the dealership, but it will cost you a range of $300 to $800 depending on if its one or both sides that need the boot replaced. I had the same problem and take it from me the longer you let it go the worse its going to get and the more its going to cost you.

Mine's making a small clicking noise too, but CV boot looks good. I30CeFiRo, did you get your CV changed? If so, where? Thanks.

Is it only when moving, or does it also do it when stationary? It its also doing it when stationary, it probably not the CV Boot, it could be the strut bearing. Did you jack up the front end of the car and rotate the wheel to inspect the entire CV boot?

CV joint.

If it is allready clicking then the damage is probably done and would be too late to just reboot/regrease it.

No its not when its stationary, its only when im turning slowly,
I didnt do anything to the car, i didnt drop it, jack it up or anything, I know i didnt hit any big potholes either, could it be from sharp turning-cuz after i installed my strut bar i was testing ti vigorously and the front sort of hoped a little????

Mine's making only a small clicking noise when making full turns, like turning the wheel to the maximum. What do you think? I30CeFiRo , I'm from Honolulu too.

cv joints are a cheap fix if you do it yourself, like 150 a side, not to bad and its pretty easy too

A split/cracked boot at each wheel (drive axle) and look for fresh grease on the inside of your front rims and usually all over struts/suspension parts.
