HI --
I just swiped a Maxima (with my car) And dinged the guys mirror. Just what I needed this morning. He came back with an estimate of 365$ !! That seems a little steep to replace the mirror housing (glass was untouched). Any one have similar experience and estimates?
Thanks in advance...

Way high...
I tore off my mirror in a parking garage a few months ago. Total price of new left power mirror (unheated) with the glass, intallation, paint and all nuts & bolts was closer to $250 or $275. If its a heated mirroe it might be a little more. I'm sorry I don't remember the actual price but this was from my usual insurance approved body shop. They do excellent work. I will post pics from when I was rear-ended by a Mustang. Anway, hope that helps.

Side swiped
Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. That's way too high
for the parts. The whole assembly I found on Carparts.com for 108.50 talk to Charles. (847)387-2787.
The only one out of all the parts places I called, and I even called up Courtesy, they wanted 142.56, and no maxima.org discount, Ultimate Z was the only place that sold me pieces and parts of the assembly. (630) 837-0700, talk to Coz. They have a 25% discount if you mention you're a maxima.org member. He wanted 178.20 for the whole thing though.
Yeah, my mirror was intact its that back piece and the molding for it that was damaged. And no I had the non heated mirrors. So all those prices are for non-heated.
