gauge bulbs

ok i had lots of questions about the gauge lights but this is my last one. i originally changed my stock gauges bulbs to blue bulbs. those turned green so i was very angry. so i went to white LED's, which look purple, so i was mad about that as well. on top of that, the LED's have crappy contacts, the metal on them doesnt stay in contact so i get some blinking crap once in a while, so im fed up with that. i read on a thread that i can sand my stock bulbs and color over them with a sharpie. i plan on doing that with a blue sharpie, my question is, if i do that, will they eventually turn green? or not, since the original color of them was not blue
thanks

dont do that blue sharpie thing. i did it with my keyring light and unless you like to recolor them every month, then go for it. it'll fade and the key right light doesn't even stay on that long compared to the guages so it'll probably fade faster.

plus it'll fade from blue to purple to a light purple so if that's ur favorite color, then go for it.

well they shouldn't due to the fact that leds create a very low amount of heat....

dont they have some that are number 74 or something that have the plastic holder that twists right into the guages? or is this just for 96s? I saw they had them and they were only like $1.70

I replaced my "stock white" 194's with Blue 194's i bought from pep boys [Super Bright Premium Colored 194 Bulb] and they look great, Not extremely bright but they look better then the dull whites that were in there. Just a option for ya if you have a pep boys by you. I can post pics later if you like.
