Best place to get CF Hood?

Since my insurance is paying for it, I'm going to go ahead and get a CF hood. I was wondering which company had the best fitment/price? If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
Kevin.

One more thing, Are the holes for the washer nozzles pre drilled, and were there any complications with the Latch?

From what Ive heard the latch assembly is ok. I can tell you right now, that by the pics it looks better then mine.
The holes are predrilled but may need to opened a little bit more for the OEM washers to fit.

I own this hood. It is a very nice cf hood. I bought mine from this name guy on ebay. It comes with a factory latch and has pre drilled holes for the spray's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36475

My hood got dozens of small dents due to hail. The roof also got pelted but not as bad as the hood. Since I have a pearl white max, i was thinking of getting a CF hood.

I am not sure if this is a foolish question, but do CF hoods only come in black, or can they be painted? Having that CF look in pearl white would be awesome.

Hellfrye, that would be tinted CF. Painted would just be painting with body paint and it would no longer look like CF at all.

Does any company make them without washer nozzle holes? I've removed my whole sprayer system so I'd rather have the cleaner look as well as reduced drag.

Reduced drag from no washer nozzles? Are you serious?

yes i was wondering the same thing. how does that slow you down? I think the windshield would be more of a problem.

Anywayz.. so i didn't get the context of tinted CF. Is this blackish/grey finish called a tinted cf?

I guess you could throw a pearl clear coat on there, I guess., Not sure how well it would show up.
If yoyu paint it, you will not be able to see the CF weave.
I know some co's. have silver CF hoods. But ive never seen one available for the max.

Yeah, ive heard that as well. The quality im sure would be just as good as Importfan. I really dont think the GTP hood has any major flaws, at least none Ive heard of.
VIS will be expensive though. I never seen their hoods too cheap.

The description says it's made of fiberglass! Not carbon fiber!

I was only being partly sarcastic. Seriously, I don't want the holes cause I don't have the system anyway. I'd rather have a smooth hood than one with nozzles in if its possible. Plus we all know the basic laws of aerodynamics. My question still stands; does any company make a hood without the little indents/templates punches in?

Yes, any hood of this style will be fiberglass. They make a mold or fiberglass of the hood and lay CF cloth down on the fiberglass body (skeleton) and then clear coat it. This is done for stability and CUTTING cost. If you want a true, CF hood, bust out the wallet for over 1000 dollars in purchasing. Thats not even considering the designing of one for the Maxima.
