gettin new clutch installed on monday....what else should i do or replace?

gettin new clutch installed on monday....what else should i do or replace?

i just bought a EXEDY Stage 1 clutch kit.....i am gettin it installed on monday.....and i was wondering what else do i need to do besides resurfacing the flywheel?

should i do a tranny flush? change out the transmission fluid?

check axles, if they have torn boots and u have money to replace, do so since they have to come off anyway. If you have a y-pipe that needs installing, free labor , get your bearing checked so it can be replaced just in case its almost dead or causing leakage, there are other bearings that the tranny connects to the axle with. I recommend replacing those, i hear if they are really worn it might cause leakage?

maynot have to replace Slave cylinder....but TO bearing dust boot is a good idea...tranny flush is a good idea.....may as well while its out

While the tranny fluid is out, throw some Redline MT-90 in there. Also if you can afford to buy a new flywheel, pick up a Fidanza. Check your seals as well to see if they are leaking or not.

Rear main seal.
I would replace it wether its leaking or not.
Just because its not leaking now, doesnt mean it wont leak 6 mo. from now.
Unless your doing the install yourself, better to pay the labor of removing the trans once not twice.
