People with gauges please come in!

Ok i got my gauges today and instalation went smoothly. I bought the EL-GLow gauges off ebay and they look damn nice. One problem tho, i didnt take the needles out to put the gauges in knowing that the needles will be decalibrated and wont work properly. After i insalled them i checked and they light up nice but my rpm and speedometer seem to be messed up they jump around and not working properly. If i press on the gauge face the rpm does work properly so my question how can i tighten them more so the needle wouldn't rub and touce the gauge face? HAs anyone else had this problem? Should i superglue them on so they will pe perfectly flat and this way the needles are gonna work?

you could sand where the needle gets attached to the cluster, i sanded mine down a bit so it stands higher up and it dosnt stick at all. i also did use double sided tape too

Use double sided Scotch tape available at Staples. It's as thin as regular Scotch tape but double sided. You can use it on the entire back of the gauges and then stick them on REAL good. Be sure to get the tape nice tight around the edges of the opening where the needles go so they'll sit especially flush around the needles.

i cut the original guage out the way then just snapped the new guage in place. i had to glue the stop pins that hold the needles in place though. good luck!
