Tonight i almost ordered the FSTB from streetbeat but i really dont know if its good enough and will hold up.

i went to the local performance shop and asked if they knew of streetbeat and he never has. I asked him the price range of what he can get one for and he said 65-110$$...now i really want to order this FSTB already...if its the 65$ one or the 35$ i want one already but i need to know will it hold up and why is it 35$$

Riiight...

Well, since the FSTB is doing such an important job in the car:
namely, being a metal bar
you definitely need to get the expensive FSTB that your friendly and caring local shop wants to sell you.
I have the Street Beats brace, and it's as solid as anything, and definitely more solid then it needs to be. But if you want to support your local economy, by all means pay 110 bucks.
BTW, the street beat FSTB is made by Vibrant Performance.

My StreetBeat FTSB was a Matrix.
It's stiff as hell, looks decent, and it cost 35 bucks.

Go cheap, young man!

My streetbeat works fine, looks decent and best of all it costs a whole lot less then stillens. If you manage to bend this thing during hard cornering than I will be impressed.

Streetbeat is NOT a brand!

Streetbeat just sells the product (for an awesome price). They carry different brands, depending on when you order. Some people received Matrix bars. Others, Vibrant Performance. It's all the same. No worries.

I wondered the same thing initially. Then looked at all the posts. Seems that the StreetBeat Matrix/Vibrant unit had a bunch of fans. I REALLY wanted the Stillen unit BUT it was just too darn expensive. The FSTB offered by CATTMAN was pretty nice... came in a dark anodized bar that looked good but it was another $30 over the StreetBeat. Kind of came down to a money issue for me. I mean, you can't beat $47 shipped to your door. So I ordered the StreetBeat. The ordering was no problem on the net. It came UPS ground reasonably quickly. Would up with a Vibrant unit. No problems with installation. The unit is solid and well made. You won't believe how nice it is especially for the price. I'm glad that I did go with this one. The thing works! You will notice a difference immediately. By buying the StreetBeat I'm saving some $ for other mods. Soon is a RSB. This one will be a Stillen! I don't like the flimsy look of the ADDCO version. So, I've saved some money....gotten a great piece and everyone is happy.
BTW, might as well order a torque wrench when you get the FSTB. Again, use the money you save with the StreetBeat to buy it. You'll need it for the installation. Harbor Freight is one site for tools. Probably about $30 for a 10-150 lb wrench.
Cheers

I have the Matrix brand from StreetBeat and it's probably the best value in the marketplace.

Cost of parts/accessories/mods a lot of time is driven by the demand. That's why typically similar parts for Honda/Integra are less expensive than Maxima/I30/Cefiro. The Matrix FSTBs are made in Taiwan. And what's the best selling luxury sedans in Taiwan you ask? It's Cefiro!! They come in both 2.0 and 3.0 litter. Taiwan are flooded with Cefiros and a lot of them are modded in some way. They are more popular than Accords and Camrys to the contrary than what you may believe. I am not surprised the Matrix FSTB cost is driven down by that fact.

A friend and I just bought a FSTB from streetbeat and it was a great value. Can't beat the price/performance ratio.

If ya got the money go for the Stillen, it just looks better. I got mine used for $100. I know I know. The Stillen's part that attaches to the Strut tower also goes all the way around it's a solid circle, I don't know if this does anything for the performance of it. All I know is that it just plain looks better. I just got a used Stillen RSTB as well for $100. I just like to match everything. To each his/her own! We all love our cars!
