My 97 5spd

I have noticed it has been idleling high. When I start the car the RPMS goes up to 3. I'm sure there are sticky's but I have been looking and can't find it. My eyes are killing me!!! Can someone please help or point me to the right direction?

you were in the right direction with stickies all the answeres are in their.

you could adjust the idle cables
adjust the idle screw by the IACV
clean Trottle body
clean IAC valve

mines been doing the same thing since I replaced my knock sensor and cleaned throttle body. hoping maybe it'll just take the ecu a bit of time to recognize the change.
Idles fine after it warms up... just irratic until then. sometime up to 3k.

I had the same problem with my 97' SE auto. When it is cold out it would rev upto 2.5k or so and hang there. It was terribly annoying. I brought it to the dealer under warranty and they replaced the throttle body and throttle cables.
the problem went away.
