Crank Angle sensor = Crank Position Sensor?

So the max died on the road the other day and the ECU spit out a Crank Position sensor code. I'm looking on Jerry Rome Nissan's parts catalog, and found crank angle sensors, which appear to be the same, but I want to be 100% sure before I order. Are these the same?

what was the exact code, REF or POS, clean them both off first see if that does anything. as for your original question, im not sure its the same thing, check carparts.com and cross reference the number.

IDK, the code was 0802, came back as Crank Position sensor. You think cleaning them will do it? What should I clean with, regular ol carb/brake cleaner?

WOW the ones on carparts.com are like half the price. They should work fine though, no?

Yea....that would be nice if it wasn't 7-10 days for shipping.....looks like I'm stuck paying 180 bucks from the stealer if cleaning them doesn't work...

What are the chances of it being a short and not the sensor?

Nevermind, I fixed it. Got under there to check and clean the sensors, and on e of the connectors had come loose. Plugged it in, adn she fired right up, no CEL at all. God bless Haynes.
