Do you have a Y-pipe yet? If not, trust me just buy that 1st and see how you like the sound.

Aftermarket Intakes, like Place racing CAI (group deal going on until 30th in the group deals forum) will add a really nice almost turbo like sound without bieing annoying. Try just a Y-pipe and Intake, and besides, both mods add horsepower, significantly i mean about 10 each, mabe 25 together.

I got a catback, but i would have rather kept muffler stock and just gotten a Y-pipe and Intake, enough sound from those 2, and would have saved me lots of money.

you are true in some ways, but you do still get power from a catback... really the b-pipe... especially with a y pipe and intake freed up as well... i think like 6-7 just from b... not sure... muffler is for looks and sound variations...

you could've saved some money and got the same power from just a b-pipe... i wouldn't tell people not to mess with an catback just because you think they can save money, because it is still a very good mod...

the muffler just tones the sound, still (straight through) will sound raspy... where dynomax superturbo (big oval that barely fits underneath) will give you a nice deep toned down sound...

b-pipes are all the same, 2.5 is recommended for NA...

read around... you'll see pros and cons of everything...

id say for catback sp2 if you want looks and a nice tone, or for sleeper power then budget b-pipe for about $175 ish...
