Auto to Manual Conversion... $$$??? post your experience...

So i was wondering if it is possible to make my 99 SEL an 5 Speed, and how much a project like that costs... what i need and what is involved... is this possible, and if so, has anyone done it???

hmmm.... i wonder if i can make it a 1-2 day project. i hate being car-less

It takes about 16-20 hours to do, so it can be done in a weekend if you have all the parts ready to install.

You can do the clutch pedal and master cylinder install one weekend, which will save 3-4 hours when you do the transmission swap the next weekend.
