Does anyone know the volumetric efficiency

Whats the volumetric efficiency of our engine?

Also, did these engines get Nissan's NVCS (Nissan Valve Timing Control System )

Sorry I don't know the VE of our engine. Because it is the VQ I would assume it is pretty high.

No the VQ30 did not get any kind of variable valve timing. The VQ35 has Nissan Continuously Variable Timing Control System (NCVTCS)? or something like that. It is more advanced than the original NVCS. The VG30DE and VE30DE had it though.

This thread talks about all kinds of stuff about variable valve timing. I especially like how nissan had NVCS before Honda had VTEC.

Thats what I thought, I found it interesting that the older VG had it, but they didnt transfer it into the VQ30de..... hmmmm.

Im trying to figure out turbo numbers and the CFM.... I guess id be safe to say VE=90%....
