Spoiler LeD Light help.. this things junk.

What up org. havent quite been around much... i drive to much now.

Ok my spoiler light doesnt work and hasnt since i painted it.
I cut the wires before i saw that connector which light=wire connects.
So i cut the spoiler light free. then saw the connector and cut that off for some dumb reason.. dont ask.

So when i when to put it back together i lost that connector and hard-wired the 2 wires up. But Nothing. I switched the +/- around n stuff but nothin still.

*I did put the light wires +/- on the battery and still no light. no work. nada.

Q: Was there a resistor in that Connector?
Q: Is the light fried?
Q: Should i use a test light on the lose wires hanging in the trunk to see if it gets power.. if you say yes does a 40 w reg. bulb work orrrr... what does?

Anyways. Thanks for any help in advance. Much App Mwest.

...are you pressing the brake when you are testing? i know its a dumb question but i had to ask... id say use a multimeter to test the wires and see if you are getting voltage, if not you could have blown a fuse somewhere

or your light might be bad...
