I'm going to get slammed for this... but
I got the Illumina kit with tokico lowering springs and installed them last Wednesday. I've tried every setting but the ride still seems pretty harsh; but that's coming from a guy who has never had lowering springs before. On smooth roads, the handling is FREAKIN' SWEET! But I live in downtown Atlanta where the roads are sh*t and I'm getting annoyed. So I have four options that I see.
1. Give it a couple of weeks and see if I get used to it.
2. Swap out the lowering springs for the factory and lose some performance (and the mean-*** stance.)
3. Get rid of the strut tower bar; maybe that will help some.
4. sell them and take the hit.
I think it's the springs and not the shocks as it actually feels better on setting 4 than on 1. On 1, it tends to bounce after I hit a bump. On 4 it just bangs once and then stops. Anyway..
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Gavin

maybe so... Perhaps I'm just attuned to the barge-on-the-water feel of a maxima on blown struts.Originally Posted by NismoTunin
