Problem On 97 Gle

i have problem on my friends 97max. His dash blinks when u press the brakes or pull the windows or turn the blinker on, and some times the car just shuts off or radio shuts off by just turning the blinker on or turning headlights on. If anyone knows how to fix that problem, please post some advice. Thanx

Grounding

I'm taking a guess here. I think you should check the grounding wires.

check his alternator. the first warning sign i've learned to look for when an alternator is about to give out is the radio turns off and on.

Have you checked the battery terminals? make sure they are tight.

And look on the inside face of them. Any blackness or oxidation needs to be removed. (A dremel with a small polishing/grinding wheel works well)
