Does anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnose which of the 4 mounts needs replacement? Visual inspection? One in particular that fails with more probabililty? Any ideas?

Thanks.

My front and rears went but my side mounts are still good. Most likely your front and rears are going to be the 1st to replace. Its not a hard job for those 2. All my mechanic did was drop the cross memeber and put the new mounts on the cross member then bolt it all back together.

Yea it sounds all easy but in reality its not like that. You will run into alignment issues and possibly a bruised hand (me)

Ok thanks. Any suggestions on replacements? Anyone have experience with the PR mounts? Or are the Nissan ones a better bet to use?

Theres a guy on ebay that sells brand new mounts at like $40 each vs the $90 dealer cost....I bought those and couldn't be happier

If you look in the FAQs, me and a couple other people wrote a writeup

Ok and one last annoying question. I'm guessed at my motor mounts being the cause of a problem I'm having. Would you be able to verify this, or give me some sort of idea.

When I'm putting the car into 1st or Reverse, I feel the whole car vibrate if I keep the revs low while putting it in gear (ie. not rev the crap out of the car when putting it in gear). That is being cause by faulty motor mounts right?
