how much is a good set of coil overs? I saw those and others on there for that price range and then there are D2 (dont know much about them) but they are $900 are the ones on ebay just super cheap (in price and/or quality) or are the D2 some very high tech coil overs? I might get some coil overs if those ones on ebay are good enough to handle some Gr-2 and maybe Tien-H (still deciding)

Yep ... if you're going to be tearing it all out, you should replace the struts too. If you don't, your ride quality will suffer greatly. Besides, your stock struts are probably blown anywan depending on your mileage ... if the aren't, it won't take long to blow them with lowering springs.

I went with the Koni yellows and tein s-techs springs and i love everything about it. Dont regret it at all. Those seem decent but yea do struts while you are at it, cause eventually the stock struts will get thorn up with the drop.

If you want decent coilovers with an affordable price. You can't beat the quality of Ground Controls. They will have the proper spring rate that you need and you should def. replace your stock struts with at least GR2's or AGX's.

I think you should do a little more research on what you want instead of jumping on the cheapest price. Suspension drop includes getting both spring/coilover and struts to accomodate them. If you think you can rock coilovers with your factory struts, then you're wrong.

Dropzones are a harsh ride. Just keep in mind that "you get what you pay for."

The stroke is shortened to match the drop that the springs give. The valving is matched to that stroke and the progressive rate nature of the maxspeed springs. Basically, it makes a perfect match for the spring rate and lowered stance.

I personally didn't do it, I'm nowhere near that skilled or knowledgeable in strut design

Don't forget to replace the strut mounts when replacing struts. I think the parts are around $110.
