Should Ignition Coils last the Lifetime of the Car?!
Hello! I need to know: Should Ignition Coils last the Lifetime of the car?! Do Ignition Coils require any maintenance?
My '99 Maxima has 36,000 miles on it, and a Nissan Dealership diagnosed the Ignition Coils as the cause of my car mis-firing. This is quite costly. Should this be covered by Nissan under "Special Assistance Beyond Warranty Period"? Please give me your opinion and experience. Thank you very much!
