i hate autoshops!
well a couple months ago i got in an accident and a family member recommended a body shop which was a freind of theirs. well i finally got my car back with the wrong front bumper. oranger corners in which i originally had clear corners. and my right clearence light about to fall off which is being held by a screw. so i talked to the BBB and my insurance company and that body shop is going under investigation!!!!!! ARRGGGHHH i just wanted to vent !! i'll keep up guys updated. oh one more thing i got an estimate from 3 other body shops and there is still about $2,000 left of damage!!!!@#!@#!@#!@#!@&*^*^

Sorry about your bad body shop experiance. Keep in mind that the shop is required to bring the car back to preaccident condition, but it also must be able to pass a state inspection. They are not permitted to use non dot compliant parts, ie. your clear front lenses. By law the shop must complete the repair to your satisfaction. You can log a complaint to your insurance company against the shop. Believe me, that will shake up the shop owner because that insurance company will no longer suggest that shop as an approved repair facility until the investigation is complete. You probably will not get your clear lenses unless you provide them for installation, but the body work and body parts should be corrected.

with the vin numbers...he said he got a 97 se front bumper...but got another bumper i think from a older year like 95-96 well..my fog lights don't even fit...they guy at the autoshop used like tar or something to make the fogs stick...well n/e ways...theres an investigation going on..and i'll keep u updated njmaxseltd thnks man!
