Hoods done, need a carbon fiber one

some stupid a-hole swung her door open on the back of her 1912 pathfinder and screwed the front of my hood down to bare metal....shes giving me money for a new hood....carb fibe time....anyone know where to get the best hood for our max.....preferably one with 0 fitment issues

not sure where u can get a carbon hood, but i would gladly take the old hood off your hands. (it has to be in better condition than mine) i could pick it up one weekend after you get your carbon hood. im in maryland, send me a price: azimk@umd.edu

yeah definintly, the hood is mint condition except for the dead center in front theres about a 1'x4" scuff....i will keep you posted i should have this settled within the week

yeah looks good but i need one for a 98, the fitment was good with the ebay one?...i can't seem to find an auction for a 4th gen hood, anyone else have any experience with the ebay cf hoods?

Unless redline has switched vendors, I wouldnt get it from there.
I purchased mine from there and its not the best quality. The clear coat is missing in some spots on the edges, the edges arent rolled, its wavy and the latch assembly isnt the best.
Some members have even had the latch assembly break on them(Ceasar).
Id go woth the GTP hood importfan.com
Or wait for the VIS to be released, whenever that is?

from pics and other threads Ive seen here, they seem to have as close to 0 fitment issues as it gets!

the redline max one sucks read the vqpower article terrible fitment bad clear coating doesn't lign up right but it is cheap.
