Radio and Pocket

I was thinking about moving my radio to my bottom pocket. (not the pocket right under the cd player the one under that) I know some cars have the flipdown pocket and some have a different looking pocket. Mine has the flip down pocket. Does that come out and will I be able to put my cd player there because I was going to put a tv where my old cdplayer was?

yes. they are all interchangeable. I have a full din eq at the bottom, my deck at the top, and the flip down below the deck.

You have to remove the the whole radio / ac unit. It pulls out as one unit and they are attached to a metal frame on either side.

Once it's out, you can unscrew the different pieces and move them up or down as desired.

Look for a how-to in the audio section on replacing the radio. It'll be basically the same steps.

i think if you move the radio all the way to the bottom, the shifter will be in the way of the CD's when they go in/out.

Pop out the top piece with the vents and hazard/def buttons
Pop out the piece around the shifter
Remove one screw on the left side of the ashtray
Slide ashtray to the right then out
Remove 4 screws holding the console in
Disconnect wires, etc.

Relocate as desired

Installation is reverse of removal
