Squeaking dash....please help

I have this problem with my dash, could be borderline compulsive. But every significant bump I hit (being in Canada means pretty much every bump), I get this cracking sound coming from the dash section where the digital clock is with Hazard and defoger on each side. It seems to be forming a gap between the joint for that section and the climate control dash section. Clips on both sides are firmly attached, but I can push in between to recreate the noise and I feel it moving. I know this is a weird question but anything that can be done for this?

I used double sided tape to act like a cushion on the areas that the dash makes contact. just start experimenting where you think the sound is coming from by applying the tape and then reassemble and take a test drive. I had the same noise you seem to have and this took care of it for me.

I read over this. Why would you want to put squeak tape all over it? Seems like you'd want anti-squeak tape.
And on that note... where might one get anti-squeak tape? Need something super thin to go around the plastic shifter piece and around the entire center console. The door/window stuff at home depot is too thick.

take a hammer, and lift it, and bash the dash til it stops.
