The key to my stock interior with light weight 2680lbs with carbon trunk on (thats still in my closet)with full interior,no pass seat because i dont need one. Otherwise full interior havent had a pass seat in in 2 years. The key is time ,i take every piece i can off my car and make it lighter(file master cylinder) then cover up that fact some how.
Next year i will have 2500's with full interior including pass seat.
Dont forget to strip the wires out of the car that arent being used.
And i good hood and trunk with spoiler off my car i think will lose 70-75lb.

Brakes another spot where lots of weight can be lost i estimate 50lbs +. Remember a 2200lb car does not need 11 inch rotors anymore ,huge overkill.Once i get my car in the 2500's smaller rotors are going on with half as light caliphers. Are calipers are like 8lbs a piece. I can save 16-20lbs with just lighter caliphers.

I have done some weight reduction but I am no where near the level of Krismax. If it is a drag only car you don't need anything. For those that don't think A/C doesn't weigh much, your forgetting something. The Evap box under the glovebox weighs a good 5Ibs. Get that outa there. Also, if your not worried about control power steering is worth several HP/TQ and all told it probably weighs 30Ibs. The steering bump stops on the spindles are worth 3Ibs. Rear brakes aren't really needed although I don't know if you'll pass tech check in.

You can sell all the stuff you've removed and use that money for CF lid and hood.

-Sunroof and rail(25+Ibs)
-Exhaust after y-pipe.(40+Ibs)
-Keyless entry brain(1Ib)
-Antannae if retracting type.(4Ibs)
-Extra cooling lines to TB and EGR.
-Cooling lines to heater core.
-Heater Core
-Entire Dash(I mean everything. You don't need any gauges besides Tach and if your good you don't even need that.)
-Sound deadening
-FSB
-Splash Gaurds.(Wheel well too)
-All interior obviously
-Y-Pipe(9 Ibs)
-Splash Guard(2 Ibs)
-EGR stuff
-Hoodliner(1 Ibs)
-Stock Drivers Seatbelt Assembly(5 Ibs)
-Racing Bucket(18Ibs)
-Brake Rotor Dustsheilds(9 Ibs)
-UDP(3 Ibs)
-Stock Intake Plumbing(4 Ibs)
-Wall Behind Rear Seats(6 Ibs)
-Exhaust Heat Sheilding(9 Ibs)
-Plastic Guard Around Brake and Gas Lines(1 Ib)
-Removed Dash Bar(2 Ibs)
-Misc. Bolts and Brackets(3 Ibs)
-Removed Rear Tow Hooks(2 Ibs)
-Secondary Exhaust Bracket(1 Ibs)
-Passenger Side Tow Hook(1Ib)
-Stock Foglight Brackets(1.5Ibs)
-Windsheild Washer Stuff
-Cruise Control(3Ibs)
-Plate Under Steering Wheel(2Ibs)
-UDP(3Ibs)
-Jack and Mounting Bracket(7Ibs)
-Spare(28Ibs)
-A/C(35Ibs)

NPM just started a great new project. http://nissanperformancemag.com/december04/g20_racecar/
Keep going. I'd like to know what true race weight is. Once you determine the weight we can start making guesses at e.t/trap. The basic rule of thumb is crude but still... If your goal is 2000Ibs then you'll be in mid to high 13's. But we must remember weight vs. traction is a direct relationship.

yea i had my car stripped forever, no back seats, nothing in the trunk, no carpet, everything that is not needed in the engine bay was out, including the a/c, and yea it did run like a beats but it was just uncomfortable.....so everything is back in for the winter.

when i stripped my car i had everything out.....

i didn't have....

-A/C....lines, condenser, comperssor,.....everything baiscally.
-no back seats
-no carpet
-the whole trunk was stripped
-no center council
-no glove compartment
-everything in the engine bay was out that was not needed, no girll, battery in the trunk, only the CAI, and i could pretty much stand in the engine bay.

I did have.....

-y pipe
-no back muffler just the stock b pipe,
-place racing motor mounts
-CAI
-NX kit
-cf hood and lip

and some other lil small things, i was light as hell and the car was quick as fucc, and very responsive

oh you need not worry. This is happening. I have bought a racing fuel cell so that I can ditch the heavy gas tank. We are ditching the exhaust in lu of a straight side-pipe. Also we are gutting the doors and replacing all the side glass with Lexan. Then on the performance end, I am thinking about getting a piggy-back ecu so that I can fine tune the fuel delinery and and jack up timing since I will be able to run nothing but race gas. Also in the hunt for a new pair of slicks. I have bearly lost out on 2 different ebay auctions.
