knocking

knocking

Is it normal to hear a slight knock in the morning when I start my car it goes away after my car has been warmed up. It only does this when I first start the car could it be lifters wearing or? I don’t know I need some help.

Also i have 131,000

most likely injectors and yes it's normal

I had a slight ticking noise on another car I had. I got a Purolater PureOne oil filter that has an anti-drainback valve. Since the oil can't drain back into the oil pan, the engine is nice and lubbed and the ticking in the morning went away.

You could try this, just make it's the PureOne, not the regular Purolator.
