I was told that there are none before and I refuse to believe that. Thanks for your replies.

hmm, i guess ill start, theyre both nissans. older max's and Z's shared the same engine, um, z brakes can be carried over to max, fuel filters, MAF, other than that, not much. vg30de(T) vs vq30de, longitudally vs latittudially mounted engine, yeah....

There are really no shared parts, if that's what you're wondering. BTW your Z is absolutely gorgeous. Very classy and sporty, unlike so many I see now-a-days.

Hey nathan. There aren't any similarities aside from displacement and manufacturer. They both have dual overhead cams.

BTW I like the J-spec front facia and the R34 wheels.

****Cesear----It's a turbo....see the intercoolers?

Yes it is a Twin Turbo and I have a lot of money wrapped up in it. I am going to dyno it soon and expect 550whp. To answer your question a gen IV Max against a non turbo Z the Max I think would win. The NA Z is 0-60 in 7.0 secs and the Gen IV Max is about 6.7 or so.

I've had the pleasure of experiencing both the N/A z and now my max. And I would have to agree that the max would wup on the n/a z. Unfortunately, the z doesn't have the same take off as the maxima has. But I have also had the pervilige (sp?) of sitting in my neighbor's ztt and that ****** would take the max (at least by a car length).

You could swap the fuel filter, and fuel injector, those you can put those in the Max.

That is a good idea. The fuel filter wouldn't hurt. The injectors would cause a state of richness and require an ECU upgrade from JWT or someone. I do have 6 x 370cc stock TT injectors in the garage because I just put in the 555cc Nismo injectors in the TT Z. Worth looking into, maybe!

I think that the Maxima is great looking in a sports sedan way. Thanks for the nice comments on the Z.
