I bought a factory service manual for my 97. best thing i ever did. Check ebay, you can usually find one there for about 70 bucks

Its not easy. I think the only thing that makes it hard is that its all the way down there. If you can get the car high enough then im sure it wont be a big deal. I know on the lift is easy to change. But then again everything is easier on a lift.

man this is a fine time for motorvate to be down or broken, whatever is going on at that website. im in the middle of a swap (been working on this 2 years) rofl !! anyways thought I would put the alternator in today, but its not working out as easy as i thought.

the alternator is off my vq30de and im having trouble putting on the VQ30DE-K.

Anyone got another link. I need some better photos of how to put this on. Im probably doing something wrong, doesnt seem to fit ??
