Faded Door Pieces (dont know what to call it)

Faded Door Pieces (dont know what to call it)



on the side of doors there is a strip of plastic and mine is completely faded should i just have them repainted or do i get them replaced

if you're talking about the door pillars (black area between the two doors).. peel that stuff off.. it's only a thin piece of plastic and the body underneath is clean and painted to match the car already.. if you're talking about something different, i'm confused, highlight it in the pic you posted or something..

i have the same color max and mine are the same way! FADED! he is talking about the "bumper guards" the rubber strips on the side of the doors.

ok. i thought he was talking about the black vinyl on the door pillars. you could always paint them flat black and make it look "euro"

i would just get a couple estimates at local paint shops. it can't be too expensive to get them resprayed...

that makes more sense.. but yeah, a good shop should be able to respray it for relatively cheap.. just don't go to maaco or anything like that..

You can order new ones from Nissan. They come pre-painted in all factory colors.
