my car was leakin for several months, when i checked the oil today it was BLEOW LOW

i ignored the leak, well not really because i kept parking it in the same spot so i couldnt really tell if it was still leaking or not. i changed the oil pressure switch and it leaks again now from a diff. spot. everytime i rev the engin oil start to drip right above the oil filter. neways wen i checked my oil level today it was below the L. now can this damage my motor or something? or is it already damaged? i am about to put a quart in it tommorow.

think of it this way: a car needs oil like you need blood. If you drive with no oil your motor will seize, as in stop and never start again. Fill er up and fix it.

could be fine...or you could have accelerated wear. Oil lubricates, you run a chance of ruining just about everything in your engine without oil.
bearings
piston rings
cylinder walls
valve lifters
ect...
