brake leak aggh

ok so since i got my 98 i30 ive noticed a slow leak in my brakes........not sure where its from but its gotten a little worse over time as for now i just keep refilling with valvoline synthetic dot 3/4 and hoping that im slowly flushing the brakes but just wondering if anyones got any ideas on where it could come from? when i bought the car the guy i bought it from put on new brake pads in the front could that have somtihng to do with it?
just looking for ideas before i get the car looked at.
thanks

Have you changed the brakes after you bought the car? If the fluid is getting lower then its your brakes that need to be changed, common sense.

If you had a leak you would know... even a pin hole sized leak would spread like crazy and you'd be out of fluid all the time considering the amount of pressure brake fluid goes through.

Check your brake pads, your probably riding on your shims by now.

With pressure in the system, you would be not stopping, even with only a minimal amount.

Shims arent good to ride on either. Inspect your brake system thoroughly

Check each caliper where the brake line connects to it. I believe there is a clamp there. My dad had a similiar leak on his Pathfinder and he took it to the dealer. They charged him $60 to tighten a clamp where the brake line meets the caliper. Check those first and hopefully you can find the leak.

Small leaks are possible as that is what my dad had. His light would come on and he would have to add fluid every 3-4 weeks.

There's a banjo bolt and fitting there as WaarEagle stated, that's a starting place ...
