god mothaf***** damn

i just got into a accident couple hours ago in danbury. two cars in front of me, some guy was making a left turn and the guy directly in front of me made a very quick stop (cuz he was tailgating) and i reacted quick as a **** but still couldn't avoid rear ending him. i wasn't speeding at all and felt that i left good distance (maybe not enough cuz it was raining) so basically it was my fault. shyt i think i shouldnt have slammed on the brakes, ithink thats worse without ABS (correct me if im wrong) but thank god the cop was nice and didn't give me a ticket, just a warning and he gave me some insurance numbers. as for the damage, the jeep liberty that i hit had basiclly no damge at all, just some rips in his spare tire (mounted on the trunk). except on my car, the hood is bent and got popped up (like 2-3 feet) and small pieces of my bumper light broke. those were the only visible things but who knows what else may have been damaged under the hood. at least my car still starts and is drivable (not too safe with the hood up tho, haha), but it just got towed to modewleskis. hopefully my insurance wont rise. when my mom gets the quote from Modeslskis, ill post it. good thing is im not hurt, neither was the other guy (we were both calm as hell) the airbags didnt even deploy so my car shouldnt be totaled. Maybe nows a good time to get a CF hood.

good to hear your fine. As for the hood I had a somewhat the same thing, except a deer, and I think getting a new hood, then getting it painted might run the same amount as a CF hood, so do some research and you might end up with a CF Hood.

as for slamming on the brakes, ABS prevents you from locking up and just sliding forward, you'll know if your locked up the brakes the pedal will feel like it drops to the floor.

keep us posted
