Paradox-systems Reverse El Gauges... Is install hard with SE's

I was looking for some reverse indiglo gauges and ran into the Paradox-systems 1998-1999 EL and Reverse Gauges... It said this in the details....

"Another ParaDoX SystemS exclusive product. These are a one of a kind gauge that incorporates regular Electroluminescent gauges with
the Reverse style EL gauges. There are 40 settings to choose from, which will change not only the shade of the background but the lettering as well.
Please note these are for the 1998 - 1999 Maxima's only, with the digital odometer.
Note: There may be fitment issues with SE's. The screws and and bumpstops are not in the same location."

Has anyone installed these for a SE Maxima? How was the extent of the moddin' involved?

And does the extra hole look noticeable?

I figure the extra hole I would have to drill would be near the original hole and look weird?

What do u guys think???

Im going to say you dont necessarily need the screws in to hold it in place, on my 97 gxe there was screws too and in the new gauge faces no holes for the screws, so I just took the screws out put the new gauges on top of the old and it dosnt move at all. I dont think it will be a problem.

That might be a good idea, but the screws arent the only problem. Its accually the needle pins, where the needles rest. Theres a hole in gauge that these pins stick through. Thats where the extra hole would be... On the SE theyre placed differently than the gxe/gle... Thanks for the reply
