Has anyone ever cut down the hight of a sts and put the shift **** back on? (onl about an inch or so) My throw is a little less but the same hight as stock, its like a pole sticking out of my console.

yes i think you can go as far as 2.5 with it before it gets too low for comfort or drivability... and lots of ppl have done it

i chopped an inch off of my pacesetter short throw shifter. But the pace setter is much lower than stock to beghain with. which shifter do you have

heh, well I'm not sure really. the first one I bought was a no name from Ebay for like $14 or so. It was great until it snapped off in my hand one day. So I had to get it towed to a Nissan specialty shop I like in Tampa and they ordered a new sts this time made of steel instead of aluminum like my last. The new one was around 60 bucks their cost.
