i saw these things in there that compressed your springs which virtually lowers it about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Any body heard of such a thing or tried using something like this?

Bad idea, i belive you can buy them from autozone too, they are little clamps that will "compress" your springs thus lowering your car, not a good idea.

Dont do it. my friend tried it, first its a pain in the *** to get those things on because you have to slightly compress the spring to get it on. Second, the back ones will never fit. We tried it and it failed.

A good deal of the outrageous claims about some of the products in magazines like JC are just too good to be true
