Is my block cracked? (Pics)

That is my question. Is my block cracked. I've removed my engine to do various things to it. I was just checking everything out the other day and I found some disturbing things. There are cracks on the outside of the block. They don't go through. As you can tell from the pics they are very small put still cracks. Are these normal from the block casting or do I have something to worry about? When I run my finger nail accross them it snags. The circled area is the zoomed in area in the second pic.

Cut and paste works. Umm, I don't know if that's a crack or not. If those were a series of cracks wouldn't there be a huge hole there?

It is a series of cracks but as I can tell they don't go through. Then again there is oil coating the inside of the block so I can't see the bare alluminum.

It's not cracked. Parts of my engine look like that too.

Those aren't cracks just "stress fractures" on your block if you will. You shouldn't need to worry about them.
