My mesh grille has fallen apart. I was thinking of just yanking it off and probably get a 97+ grill and mod it to fit my 95 Max. One concern is this...would anyone be able to pop the hood open thru the grill opening, cut the battery, and break-in? I've seen a few org members drive around w/o grills so I was wondering if that makes their car more vulnerable to auto-theft.

Honestly bro if someone wants something no ones gonna stop them from getting to it. But I think it should be good for a few days. just my .2...

 

i know around here, with gravel roads its not the best idea cause rocks could fly up and hit the radiator, but like 9maxima5 said, if someone is determined to steal your car, it wont matter, i think you should be ok.

 

Thanks... I'm not gonna worry too much. Besides, there's really nothing in the car worth stealing. The sound system is not even something to boast about. The engine has no mods but a cone intake. No fancy lighting. It's pretty plain and I tend to keep it that way. I just worry because I know for a fact that I have neighbors who are petty car thieves supporting their drug habits. They'll be content if they can get $10 for anything they can get their hands on. I gotta get out of this ghetto-hood!
