Rough Starts

Hello,

I know there are a few threads about this but I feel this will be a good place to get everything in here that can cause rough starts...

My car is a 95 Nissan Maxima SE and in the summer it started up fine, but now in the cold winter, some times it starts rough and takes a while to catch...

What can cause this (rough starts)?
Can your plugs, could it be the starter, the battery?

if its dragging and taking a while to crank it could be your starter they have been known to go out. Sparks are a known cause for hard starts check your sparks, take out a few and look at them and see what color it is that can tell you alot.

check your grounds and crankshaft sensors, as well as look for any other codes...my problem ended up being a crank shaft position sensor code set off by a loose ground, after replacing sensor i had same problem, the CEL, no start, I cranked it and burnt my starter...replacing starter and fixing ground make it all right
